DWH Interiors is the latest step in a career spanning almost 30 years in the Atlanta Design Community. Douglas Hilton’s career has exposed him to all aspects of the Design Industry – from wholesale showroom to white glove delivery to Interior Design for clientele. He brings this knowledge to each of his projects.

Douglas began with Ainsworth-Noah and Associates in 1985 and it was here he discovered his love of design. Privileged to work with and learn from some of the top designers in the Southeast, he progressed from Office Manager to Senior Associate and began designing projects for friends and family.

While his family had always dealt in antiques growing up in Europe, Douglas refined his knowledge and taste by working for several Atlanta antique galleries. In 1998 he joined Classic Design Services as General Manager where he learned the logistics for out of town projects and local delivery. Joining C. Weaks Interiors in 2003 as a Design Assistant to Carole Weaks, president and founder, he quickly rose to Senior Designer taking a lead position on numerous projects. While there he worked on projects in Atlanta, GA, Highlands, NC, Birmingham, AL and Miami, FL.

His work has been published in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and The New York Times Magazine and has been quoted in the Atlanta Journal and the Northside Neighbor. Projects he has worked on have appeared in Veranda, Traditional Homes, and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and Milieu.
